Description

Hi,
There were some discussions on the mailing list regarding libssh2_userauth_publickey_fromfile won't work with passphrase, when the library is linked against libgcrypt (instead of openssl), which is the option most Linux distributions will use.
This is a missing feature and is the only thing prevents me to link libssh2 in my project (http://grdc.sourceforge.net). So I register this tracker artifact and hope this won't get ignored... :) Would really like to see this get implemented in the next release.

Thanks for all your effort and great work!

The response you got on this question when posted to libssh2-devel was accurate: we're very few developers on this project so if you feel and need something done, you need a lot of patience or simply start working (or help luring in others to become devs).
